Production Technology Students

Over 200 Production Technology students are now on training for six weeks to prepare them for the production line in some partner companies of CITE.

Production Technology is a short-term program for out-of-school youth, 18-25 years old,  who lack opportunities to continue their higher education after high school graduation.

The course will prepare the students by equipping them with entry-level skills that match the industry needs like wire harness, industry assembly or production work.

Students of this course will take the course within a year which is composed of in-school training and in-plant component. The in-school component is enriched with theory-based subjects and values formative sessions that will help them imbibe the best practices in CITE.

The program is currently under the wing of Program Director Leonardo Arriesgado. Students also benefited from the training through a shared cost of education between the school, industries, and parents.

With the intervention of local government units through poverty-alleviating measures like 4P’s or Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, these less privileged youth are given the fighting chance to better their lives through education. Admission tests for Production Technology course is going on.
