We have continued our cause to provide nutrition to the severely wasted children in Cebu. Through our tie-up with Century Pacific Group (CPG-RSPo Foundation), we received over 10,000 cans of Century products which will be used for the supplementary feeding in public schools.  

Nine schools were identified to be beneficiaries of the program which started in September 2011. These schools are Talamban Elementary School, Banilad Elementary School, San Jose Elementary School, San Jose Day Care Center, Leonard Wood Elementary School, Budlaan Integrated School, Cubacub Elementary School, and Cabancalan 1 and 2 Elementary Schools.

The feeding program is conducted three times a week depending on the availability of the goods. At an average, 300 pupils are fed every month as identified by the school nutritionist. The number is expected to rise during the opening of the classes in June.

We also tapped our grantors and industry partners to provide us some bread and rice to augment the supplementary feeding. The feeding program continues to drum up support from the parents association and other civic groups.
