CITE began the week by making a courtesy visit to TESDA Provincial Director and Assistant Regional Director Carlito Quintano on February 3, 2026. The delegation, led by CITE President Dr. Jose Ramiro Carpio Jr., extended congratulations on PD Quintano’s appointment and discussed areas of collaboration to align CITE’s diploma programs with TESDA’s workforce development priorities.

Earlier, on January 27, 2026, CITE hosted Austrade representatives, including Ms. Kimberley Cuesta, Education Business Development Manager, and Mr. Kieroville Rojas, Western Australia Business Development Manager. The discussion focused on potential collaboration with institutions providing industry-aligned, skills-based education covering transnational education models and industry-linked initiatives.
CITE also continued its school outreach campaign for SY 2026–2027. On January 23, 2026, CITE participated in a career guidance event in Oslob, alongside six other schools. The activity gave senior high school graduates and incoming college students the opportunity to explore CITE’s diploma programs, admission requirements, scholarships, and career pathways. Student Affairs Supervisor Viador John II Viajar represented CITE.

In addition, CITE visited Calatrava Senior High School – Stand Alone on January 27, 2026 in Negros Occidental, led by Suzette Pañares. During the Career Guidance Program, CITE was represented by Francis Bibar of CITE Negros Operations, providing students with information on higher education and career opportunities.
