What is CITE?

The Center for Industrial Technology and Enterprise (CITE) Technical Institute, Inc. is a technical school in Cebu City offering three-year Diploma Programs in Engineering Technology. We provide both academic training and values-based formation to underprivileged but deserving young men, preparing them for professional work, responsible family life, and service to society.


What programs does CITE offer?

CITE offers three-year diploma programs under the Dual Training System, including:

  • Diploma in Computer Engineering Technology
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology
  • Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology

Who can apply?

Applicants must be:

  • Male, Filipino citizen
  • Not more than 25 years old
  • Senior High School graduate, graduating student, college-level, or ALS graduate (with SHS equivalency)
  • With at least 80% in Math, Science, and English in the last grading period
  • Physically and mentally fit

How much is the tuition fee?

CITE follows a study-now, pay-later scheme. Most of the costs are shouldered by benefactors, allowing students to pay only a minimal monthly contribution, making quality education affordable to poor but deserving families.


What are the admission requirements?

  • Two (2) pcs. 1×1 ID photo (white background)
  • Original & two (2) photocopies of Senior High School Card / Transfer Credentials (for college level)
  • Two (2) photocopies of ALS Certificate and Diploma (for ALS graduates)
  • Two (2) photocopies of PSA Birth Certificate
  • Original & one (1) photocopy of Good Moral Certificate
  • Original & one (1) photocopy of NCAE Result (if applicable)
  • Original & one (1) photocopy of Parent’s Latest Income Tax Return / BIR Tax Exemption Certificate / Certificate of Indigency
  • One (1) long brown envelope

Does CITE provide scholarships?

Yes. CITE students benefit from financial support provided by generous sponsors and benefactors. Parents also share in the responsibility through a monthly parenting pledge. In addition, partner companies shoulder a portion of the education cost—₱280,000 for three years—during the 1.5 years of in-plant training. Additional sponsorships may also cover meals, transportation, or dormitory fees.


Is there a dormitory for students?

Yes. CITE operates the RIAN Dormitory, a five-storey facility that houses up to 365 students. For only ₱1,350 per month, students enjoy safe and affordable accommodation that includes bed and mattress, electricity, water, security, and access to dining and study areas.


What kind of training do students receive?

CITE follows a dual training system that combines:

  • Industry immersion – hands-on on-the-job training with partner companies

This system ensures that graduates are job-ready, with strong technical competence, practical experience, and well-formed character.
