The school playground of San Jose Day Care Center now beams with vibrant and fresh coats of paint, thanks to a joint outreach effort by the SPIT (Speech Improvement Team) Club and the CITE Multipurpose Cooperative.
In preparation for the opening of classes on June 16, members of SPIT, a club composed of budding communicators from CITE, took time out on June 14, 2025 to repaint the school playground equipment. This activity was held as part of their outreach program in support of Brigada Eskwela, the national initiative aimed at readying schools for the upcoming school year.
The repainting covered four sets of playground equipment—including swings, a slide, monkey bars, and decorative playground tires—where children usually play during their breaks.
The project was made possible through the generous sponsorship of CITE Multipurpose Cooperative, which provided the funding for the materials used in the repainting.
Mrs. Editha Erana, the day care teacher-in-charge, expressed her gratitude to the students for their support: “It’s so uplifting to see the children’s play area looking brand new. This will surely inspire more joyful play and learning.
