Since October 1, 2025, CITE has expanded its outreach to local government units (LGUs) across Cebu and the Negros Island Region to promote its three-year Diploma Programs and one-year Production Technology Program. The campaign aims to introduce scholarship opportunities that open pathways to technical education and gainful employment for underprivileged youth.

The initiative was made possible through the support of Congressman Emmanuel Iway of Negros Oriental and Sipalay City Mayor Gina Lizares in Negros, as well as local barangay officials in Consolacion, San Jose, Apas, Talamban, and Mandaue City. Another CITE team also met with Alegria Vice Mayor Verna Magallon, Mayor Rajiv Enad of Minglanilla, and local officials of Alcoy to further disseminate information about CITE’s youth programs to their constituents.

Career orientations and entrance examinations were conducted on-site for both graduating senior high school students and recent graduates. In several sessions, the CITE team also met with parents to explain the dual training model of the school, which combines in-school and in-plant training and available scholarship programs.

This year’s campaign is led by Academic Formation Director Neil Agbay, together with the Academic Department team and other CITE support units from different departments and students, in an effort to reach more potential scholars. Admission examinations are held daily at CITE from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for interested applicants starting November 3, 2025.
