CITE is now PCNC Certified!

February 15, 2026
CITE has earned a five-year Donee Institution certification from the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) after successfully meeting its organizational standards for good governance, management, transparency, and accountability.
The evaluation process spanned five months and culminated in an onsite assessment conducted on August 14, 2025 by a PCNC evaluation team composed of three organizational and financial experts selected by the Council. The evaluators carried out an impartial review and verification of CITE’s operations across key areas, including governance and program operations, strategic planning and linkages, and financial management and administration. The assessment employed multiple evaluation methods, such as document reviews and interviews with members of the Board of Trustees, management, faculty and staff, industry partners, alumni, and scholars.
PCNC is a private, voluntary, non-stock, non-profit organization that certifies non-stock, non-profit institutions that meet established minimum standards for NGO governance, management, and accountability in serving underprivileged Filipinos.
PCNC certification is recognized by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) as a basis for granting Donee Institution status to qualified non-stock, non-profit organizations.
