CITE took part in the APPS (Awareness, Participation, Protection, and Skills Development) Capacity Building Seminar on Life Skills for Mentors hosted by Bidlisiw Foundation, Inc. last November 14, 2025, at Castle Peak Hotel in Cebu City. The event brought together partners from the private sector and technical-vocational institutions for a day of shared learning and meaningful conversations about mentoring the youth.
Participants explored topics on youth empowerment, basic tenets of mentoring, and self-awareness tools like brain quadrants, the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), and Multiple Intelligences. These sessions helped mentors better understand how they can support young people as they prepare to enter the workplace. It also included workshops
This activity is part of the ongoing APPS Capacity Building series organized in partnership with KIYO Philippines, a youth empowerment organization which started in Belgium.
