In attendance were TESDA -VII Regional Director Gamaliel Vicente Jr. and TESDA Deputy Director General Rosanna Urdaneta .

More than 25 representatives from different regions attended the sessions, which covered alignment of TESDA’s PQF Level 5 programs with Sydney Accord requirements, orientation on the accreditation objectives and process, and mock accreditation review and evaluation activities
CITE also took part as a private-sector institution preparing for its own Sydney Accord mock accreditation in January 2025 for its four diploma programs: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Diploma in Computer Engineering Technology, and Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology. Academic Formation Director Neil Agbay represented CITE to the event.
TESDA and PTC continue working to align diploma programs with global engineering technology standards. Programs that meet Sydney Accord requirements strengthen graduates’ chances for international recognition.
The activity supports TESDA’s goal of producing world-class, globally recognized TVET programs.
