CITE Technical Institute, Inc. took part in the Lapu-Lapu Scholarship Fair 2025 held on September 28, 2025, at the Hoops Dome in Barangay Gun-ob. The event, officially opened by Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Cindi King-Chan, brought together top universities, training institutions, and government agencies to present scholarship opportunities to senior high school students, out-of-school youth, and aspiring scholars.
In her keynote message, Mayor Chan reaffirmed her administration’s strong commitment to education. “We have expanded our initiatives so that more students can continue their studies as scholars, free from the burden of tuition and school expenses,” she said, citing the CindiSkwela Scholarship Program and TESDA trainings she championed during her time as Congresswoman.
Congressman Junard “Ahong” Chan also encouraged the youth to take advantage of these opportunities, highlighting his efforts to support legislation that ensures free, accessible, and quality education for all.
Representing CITE, Patrick Neil Cutillas and Viador John II Viajar of the Scholarships and Admission Team introduced the CITE’s three-year diploma programs and production technology course designed to meet industry demand.
