CITE Unveils New Improved Library Through Rotary Partnership

December 16, 2025
In a simple ceremony, CITE officially unveiled its newly improved library on December 9, 2025, through a meaningful partnership with the Rotary Club of Cebu and STC (St. Theresa’s College) Alumnae Batch ’80, made possible by a Rotary District Grant. The project marks a significant milestone in enhancing learning resources and facilities for CITE students.
The event was graced by Rotary Club of Cebu President Charles Ong, Assistant Governor Walter Cang, and Past President Dr. Ricky Dakay, whose leadership and support were instrumental in bringing the project to fruition. The CITE Library was enriched with 700 new books donated by the Rotary Club of Cebu in partnership with the Books for the World Program of the Second Wind Foundation.
The donation also included additional book collections, study tables, and bookshelves for both the main library and the mini library at the RIAN Dormitory.
During the turnover ceremony, CITE President and Executive Director Dr. Jose Ramiro Carpio formally received the donations. Members of the Management Committee and Trustee Ric Ampiloquio were also present during the event.
This initiative reflects Rotary’s continued commitment to education—building futures, one student at a time.
