Danish-Irish artist Patrick Coard (standing fourth from the left) visited CITE on September 12, 2025, to explore a potential partnership with CITE. Known for his contemporary art design and functional art objects, Coard blends bold elements and textures—often working with bronze, patina, brass and other local materials—to tell stories through sculpture.

As Coard expands his production department through his company, Maison Galuchat Inc., he has identified the need for skilled fabricators, machinists, and Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welders. This creates opportunities for collaboration with CITE linkage programs and graduates, particularly in welding and fabrication, to support the growing demand for high-quality craftsmanship in contemporary art.
Joining him during the visit were Organizational Development consultant Godo San Juan and HR Supervisor Sharon Vasquez. Dr. Jose Ramiro Carpio Jr. welcomed the team during their exploratory visit.
