Production Technology

Program Objectives

The Production Technology Course is designed to enhance the economic potential of the youth by equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to secure gainful employment in today’s competitive industries. Graduates of the program enjoy:

  • Better employment opportunities
  • Increased chances for growth and promotion within companies
  • Greater job satisfaction through relevant technical training

Training Approach

The program combines in-school training and the Dual Training System (DTS):

  • In-School Training – Two months of classroom instruction, laboratory exercises, and workshops that provide participants with entry-level competencies.
  • In-Plant Training – Ten months of practical, hands-on experience in partner companies where trainees apply their learning, develop new skills, and adapt to real-world work settings. DTS serves as a bridge between school and the workplace.

Training fees are subsidized, and CITE assists graduates in finding employment. Several industry partners have also expressed willingness to hire trainees after their DTS.
