This week marked a productive period of outreach, partnership-building, and internal formation initiatives, reinforcing CITE’s commitment to student development and industry collaboration.
On February 23, Human Formation Department Vice Director Julieto Ardiente conducted a career orientation at Padre Pio Child Development School, Inc., introducing graduating Senior High School students to CITE’s diploma programs and scholarship opportunities.
On February 25, representatives from the Sipalay City LGU visited CITE to formalize scholarship support for 21 scholars enrolled in its diploma programs. The delegation—Katherine Maguad-Jocame (Local Youth Development Officer IV), Faith Gumata (Community Affairs Officer I), and Learn Flores (Scholarships Coordinator)—represented Mayor Maria Gina Lizares in strengthening the partnership.

February 27 featured several key engagements. Marielle Mariano, Senior Project Manager of the Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST), visited CITE to reconnect and explore continued collaboration under the ASSIST Program.
On the same day, CITE launched the Basic Mentors Seminar under the GROW Mentor Training Program, equipping teachers to guide students across five key development areas anchored on Work, Prayer, and Service. The program, with Engr. Roy Zapata, on the helm, emphasizes structured mentoring conversations using the Goal–Reality–Options–Way Forward framework, ensuring each session leads to clear student commitments and holistic formation.
Also on February 27, Architect Marianne Amores-Dutta, Founder of The Regenesis Project, explored potential training partnerships with CITE to advance her vision of regenerative design, watershed-based planning, and ecosystem modeling to strengthen flood resilience and long-term sustainability.
Meanwhile, CITE representatives Viador John Viajar II and Jaine Alterado participated in the Career Guidance Day at Mabini Integrated School, engaging Grade 12 students under the leadership of Principal Irine Carillo.
The week concluded on February 28 with CITE’s participation in the NextGen Workforce 2.0 Training of Trainers at Golden Prince Hotel and Suites. Implemented by ASSIST in collaboration with the Department of Education (DepEd) and TESDA, the initiative promotes digital literacy, future-ready skills, and sustainable practices to prepare students for an evolving workforce. Business Research Director Marlon Valencia, Consultant Engr. Ed Watin, Francis Bibar, and John Wayne Cudia represented CITE in the training.
