CITE Trains Company Student Leaders

July 6, 2026
CITE, through the Industry Government and Community Relations (IGCR) Department, conducted its Leadership Development Program for Company Student Leaders on July 4, 2026. The activity brought together selected student leaders deployed to our partner companies for a day of learning and collaboration.
Throughout the seminar, participants gained a deeper understanding of what it means to be an effective leader. Sessions covered the foundations of leadership, the roles and responsibilities of company student leaders, and leadership in the workplace. Participants also had the opportunity to share their experiences and reflect on the challenges and lessons they have encountered in their respective companies.
Among the resource speakers were CITE alumni Edward Compra and Jorge Larobis, together with Dariel Lauron, IGCR Department. They shared valuable insights on leadership, workplace expectations, and the importance of serving as role models in their respective companies.
As company student leaders, participants play an important role in strengthening the partnership between CITE and its industry partners. They serve as a link by gathering feedback from fellow students, communicating workplace concerns, and promoting open communication between the school and the companies where they are deployed.
Equipped with the knowledge and insights gained from the program, these student leaders are now better prepared to lead with integrity, responsibility, and a strong commitment to service.
