CITE conducted the Teachers’ Retooling and Development Seminar on June 16–17, 2026, as part of its continuing commitment to strengthen the competencies, professional growth, and commitment of its faculty members and class advisers.
The two-day seminar focused on improving teaching practices, classroom management strategies, student development support, and the integration of emerging technologies in education, including learning management systems and artificial intelligence (AI). The sessions were facilitated by Engr. Liez Cabrera-Gonzales, who shared insights and strategies to help educators adapt to the evolving demands of teaching and learning.
The activity provided CITE educators with opportunities to reflect on their roles, exchange best practices, and develop approaches to further enhance student learning experiences. Discussions also highlighted important areas such as student monitoring, advisory responsibilities, institutional values, and preparation for future trends in technical education.
Through this initiative, CITE continues to invest in the continuous professional development of its educators, recognizing their essential role in forming competent, responsible, and industry-ready graduates.
