December 11, 2024

CITE celebrated another memorable Executive Director’s Day on December 6, 2024 with a series of meaningful activities, honoring the birthday of Dr. Jose Ramiro Carpio, Jr., and fostering a strong sense of community among the staff.

The day began with a Holy Mass at the Student Alumni Center Oratory, followed by the blessing of the Images of Saint Josemaria Escriva and the paintings of Cebuano artist Celso Pepito.

A special blessing ceremony was also held for the covered walk and gates of CITE. The Executive Director led a ceremonial tree planting, with staff actively participating. Additionally, staff members planted trees along the roadways and pedestrian stairs, contributing to the institution’s greening efforts.

The celebration continued on the 3rd floor with a message from Dr. Carpio, followed by raffles, games, and a heartfelt birthday song in his honor. A delicious lunch was served, and staff and faculty posed for a memorable family picture to commemorate the occasion.

The RIAN Dormitory was also open for visits by faculty and staff, giving them the opportunity to experience the spaces in a new light as part of the celebration.
