The CITE Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CMPC) successfully held its 23rd General Assembly on February 22, 2025, bringing together members and stakeholders in a gathering focused on unity, progress, and shared commitment.
To formally open the program, Mr. Romero Enoc delivered an inspiring Welcome Remarks, highlighting the importance of collaboration and innovation in sustaining the cooperative’s growth. He emphasized the assembly’s theme, “A Celebration of Unity, Commitment, and Partnership,” as a guiding principle in strengthening the cooperative movement.
A key highlight of the morning session was the message from Ms. Gina F. Repunte, Chief of the Credit Surety Fund Section of CDA-Region VII, representing the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA). She underscored the vital role of cooperatives in fostering economic resilience and sustainable development, introducing the 3i principle—Initiate, Innovate, and Invigorate—to encourage members in upholding good governance and financial transparency.
The assembly proceeded with the Chairman’s Report, presented by Mr. Armand C. Manatad, detailing CMPC’s accomplishments, ongoing initiatives, and future plans. This was followed by the Review and Approval of the Previous Minutes, ensuring transparency and accountability in cooperative affairs.
The event continued with financial reports, committee presentations, elections, the budget presentation, and an exciting raffle draw, reinforcing CMPC’s mission to empower its members through collective progress.
With the strong support of its members and partners, CMPC remains steadfast in its mission to promote cooperative values, sustainable growth, and community development.
