CITE Ties Up with Agro-Industrial Technology and Enterprise Center

CITE ties up with Agro-Industrial Technology and Enterprise Center (AI TEC) based in La Libertad, Negros Oriental to provide training program for 62 scholars. This batch consists of 36 scholars taking up the Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology and 26 scholars taking up the Production Technology, a 1-year program for out-of-school youth.

The training commenced on August 31, 2022 through distance learning. The 3-year diploma program will consist of one and half years of in-school training, and one and half years in-plant training or practical skills to be conducted in Cebu City, while theĀ 1-year program will consist of one month in-school training and 11 months in-plant training at a company affiliated with CITE.

La Libertad LGU through Negros Oriental First District Representative Congresswoman Jocelyn Sy Limkaichong and La Libertad Mayor Emmanuel Laurence Daniel Iway, will shoulder the costs of the training program including the board and lodging.
