The sixteenth batch of the Young Mentors Organization held a community outreach program at San Jose Day Care Center on September 28, 2024. Eight mentors took part in repainting and repairing shelves and cabinets to improve the learning environment for around 30 children who use the classroom daily.
Led by day care coordinator Mrs. Editha Erana, the project focused on creating a safe and welcoming space for the children. In addition to refurbishing the classroom, the mentors also assist with weekend teaching activities as part of their ongoing community extension efforts.
San Jose Day Care will soon be an adopted school of CITE Technical Institute, Inc.
