Rev. Msgr. Julio Diéguez, Regional Vicar of Opus Dei for the Philippines and Indonesia, visited CITE on March 13, 2026, for a day of meetings and interaction with the CITE family. He spent time with the faithful of the Prelature, faculty and staff, as well as student leaders. His visit began with a meeting with the Management Committee, chaired by CITE President Dr. Jose Ramiro Carpio Jr.

During a gathering with students and staff, Msgr. Diéguez shared reflections on formation, apostolate, and everyday Christian life. He spoke about deepening one’s understanding of the faith, being natural in living the apostolate, and finding balance in studies and work. The session was both practical and reflective, encouraging participants to ask him questions that concern the ordinary life.

Msgr. Diéguez has served as Regional Vicar since September 6, 2022. Before his assignment in the Philippines, he held several key roles in Rome, including Spiritual Director of the Roman College of Holy Mary and Rector of the Sedes Sapientiae international seminary. He later served as Vice Rector and eventually Rector of the Roman College of the Holy Cross from 2018 to 2022.

Ordained in 1990, he holds a degree in Business Administration and a doctorate in Sacred Theology. He is also the author of He Knows Not How, a book on spiritual formation that encourages a deeper understanding of faith and moral life, now published in several languages.

CITE has requested the prelature of Opus Dei to provide priests to take care of the spiritual activities of the institution.
