Ranil graduated from CITE’s Diploma program in Industrial Electronics Technology in 2009. Equipped with strong hands-on training and problem-solving skills, he began his career in the electronics industry where he steadily grew into more challenging roles.
Ranil began his career as an in-plant trainee at Teradyne Philippines Ltd., a global leader in semiconductor testing equipment. Through dedication and technical expertise, he steadily advanced from technician roles to become a Board Repair Specialist and Team Lead, handling complex troubleshooting and repairs of sophisticated electronic systems.
His career also brought him beyond the country. Ranil had the opportunity to provide technical support and product training in the United States and Singapore, gaining international exposure and collaborating with global engineering teams.
Today, Ranil serves as a Failure Analysis Engineer at BTC Power Cebu Inc., a leading manufacturer of electric vehicle charging systems in North America. BTC contributes to the development and improvement of electric vehicle charging technologies, an innovation that supports the future of sustainable transportation. Ranil’s expertise has given him the opportunity to travel to the company’s headquarters in Santa Ana, California, USA, where he provides high-power charger testing support and customer field support.

From a CITE student to an engineer contributing to global technologies, and now a family man, Ranil’s journey exemplifies how technical education can transform lives.
