Austal Philippines marked a significant milestone with the completion of the AP-CITE Dual Training System (DTS) Program on May 15, 2025, celebrating the graduation of 20 pioneering student-trainees from the Center for Industrial Technology and Enterprise.
Over the course of 15 months, the trainees underwent immersive, hands-on learning experiences in Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, making them the first batch to successfully complete the collaborative DTS initiative between Austal Philippines and CITE.
What set this program apart was its holistic approach. Beyond technical training, the program included leadership workshops and mentorship opportunities, shaping participants into well-rounded professionals ready to contribute not only through their skills, but also by guiding and mentoring future on-the-job trainees from CITE.
