Batch 8 Reunion Meeting. Batch 8 alumni, who graduated in 2001 from the Industrial Technician Program, met on September 2 to plan their upcoming homecoming, which will mark 25 years since their graduation. The batch has 137 graduates. Alumni Manager Romero Enoc assisted the core group in planning the celebration.
Dormitory Orientation. New RIAN dormitory residents attended an orientation on September 9, 2026, as part of their induction program, called the Convocation. They were introduced to the dormitory’s house rules, expectations, and responsibilities. The orientation was led by Jesus William Lumapac, Dormitory Officer-in-Charge.
Production Technology. Around 40 aspiring students from Bacolod City attended an orientation and screening program on September 11, 2026, at the Capital Park and Lagoon Social Hall in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, with the support of the Bacolod City Government. The applicants took an examination and participated in interviews conducted by Kent Deconlay and Bryan Amolo. Successful applicants will receive sponsorship while taking CITE’s one-year Production Technology Program.
Mentoring with GROW. Nineteen external and in-house mentors, including four female external mentors, attended a crash course on the GROW Model of Mentoring on September 12, 2026. The activity was conducted to support the growing number of students in CITE’s Diploma and Production Technology Programs. The mentors learned practical approaches and strategies for effectively guiding and supporting students during their training.
More on Production Technology. On September 19, 2026, 23 applicants—22 for the Production Technology Program and one for the Mechanical Program—attended an admission and scholarship orientation in Negros Oriental District 1. The applicants and their parents attended the orientation, followed by an entrance examination and interview as part of the screening process. The applicants will be supported through the scholarship program of Congressman Emmanuel Iway. Mr. Junee Mar Aguilar conducted the orientation.
Regular Board Meeting. CITE held a Board Meeting on August 22, 2026, bringing together members of the Board to discuss matters concerning the institution and its continuing operations. The meeting provided an opportunity for the Board to review updates, address key concerns, and provide guidance on matters important to CITE’s programs and development.
The meeting reflects the Board’s continuing role in providing direction and support as CITE strengthens its programs, services, and partnerships in pursuit of its mission of providing quality technical education and training.
Feeding Program. Students received free breakfast on September 24 through a feeding program made possible by Century Pacific Group. The company provided canned goods that were prepared and served to the students. The activity provided students with a meal while highlighting the continued support of partners for student welfare and well-being.
