CITE Technical Institute, Inc. welcomed a delegation from the Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) on May 8, 2026, for a benchmarking visit focused on technical and vocational education and training (TVET).
The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between the Philippines and Indonesia in the field of TVET and to benchmark CITE’s best practices in training delivery, industry linkage, and institutional management. Representatives from KADIN, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Region VII led by Regional Director Gamaliel B. Vicente Jr., and CITE participated in discussions on workforce development and skills training opportunities for the Indonesian workforce.
Leading the Indonesian delegation was Mr. Bernardino Moningka Vega, Vice Chair for Foreign Affairs of KADIN.
CITE was represented by Dr. Jose Ramiro A. Carpio Jr., President and Executive Director, together with members of the management committee.
The program featured presentations on the Philippine TVET system, TESDA programs, and CITE’s technical education initiatives, followed by an open forum and institutional discussions.
The visit highlighted the shared commitment of both institutions to advancing technical education and furthering international partnerships in workforce development. See less
