CITE Technical Institute proudly joins the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority in celebrating the Dual Training System (DTS) Week, held from October 21-28, 2024. The event reinforces TESDA’s commitment to providing industry-relevant education and fostering workforce readiness.
The celebration, themed “Tatlong Dekada ng Pagkakaisa,” highlights 30 years of TESDA’s commitment to promote the value of DTS in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical experience, aligning technical-vocational education with industry needs.
CITE is a longstanding advocate of the DTS model, which marries competency-based instruction with in-plant training. Since 1990, CITE has produced over 5,000 graduates who benefited from this approach, many of whom are now gainfully employed in top industries both here and abroad.
By continuing to support TESDA’s initiatives, CITE remains committed to developing future professionals equipped to meet the demands of an evolving labor market.
