CITE is now PCNC Certified!

CITE earns a 3-year certification as a donee institution status from the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) for having met its organizational standards for good governance, management, transparency and accountability.

The entire evaluation process, which took a year to complete due to COVID disruptions, culminated in an online evaluation on July 15, 2021 with PCNC evaluation team comprising three organizational and financial experts selected by PCNC. The evaluators conducted an impartial scrutiny and verification on CITE in the areas of governance and program operation, strategic planning and linkages, and financial management and administration. The evaluation utilized several process including a review of documents and virtual interviews with the Board of Trustees, management, faculty and staff, industry partners, alumni, and scholars.

PCNC is a private voluntary, non-stock, non-profit corporation that certifies non-stock, non-profit organizations that meet established minimum criteria for NGO governance/management and accountability in the service of the underprivileged Filipinos.

PCNC certification is used by the Bureau of Internal Revenue as a basis in granting “donee Institution status” to qualified non-stock, non-profit organizations.
